DESCRIPTION

Ideally situated on the outskirts of Bloemfontein, exactly 2.7km from the Walter Sisulu Road off-ramp on the N1, Haldon Estate is easily accessible and boasts a unique tranquil atmosphere with luxurious accommodation facilities, surrounded by an ancient English style garden complete with rolling lawns and established huge trees.

Set at the foot of Brandkop on 13 hectares, the old English Herbert Baker style house boasts a long historical lineage and the garden and accommodation facilities which range from a luxurious Honeymoon suite through to affordable country style double and single rooms with family units and family cottage make it the ideal wedding and function venue.

All the rooms are en-suite and are fully equipped with all modern day luxuries such as air-conditioning for summer, tea and coffee facilities, electric blankets in winter and satellite TV with DSTV.

A full traditional English breakfast is served daily and delicious lunches and dinners can be arranged and are served in our dining room. Professional catering is available for weddings and other functions.

Haldon Estate has developed a repertoire over the past decade of hosting professional conferences and other exclusive functions. Haldon also host memorable birthday celebrations, private events and corporate launches.

Honeymoon Suite

This suite is ideal for for a romantic setting. It has a luxurious antique theme and comprises a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and bath. It is situated alone with its own veranda and private view of the beautiful garden.

Double En-Suite Rooms

All three of these rooms are furnished in a modern country style with a comfortable double bed and an en-suite bathroom which has a bath and hand-held shower. Room 1 and 2 look out onto the swimming pool area

King or Twin En-suite Room

This unit is furnished in a modern country cottage style with one large king size bed and an en-suite bathroom which has a bath and hand-held shower

Family Units

This unit has one entrance with two bedrooms that share a bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and a hand-held shower. The rooms are furnished in a modern country cottage style. One room has a double bed and the other two single beds

Private Double or Single Rooms

These three rooms are situated in the main house and are furnished in a ornate country estate style with double beds in each. They share one bathroom which has both a shower and a bath
