    DESCRIPTION

    Tava-Lingwe Game Lodge is  situated on the R59 between Viljoenskroon and Parys, 60km from Potchefstroom and 150km from Johannesburg. It is a 170 hectare game farm. The lodge consists of 6 luxury thatched roof chalets, tent units, cabins and a caravan camp with 75 stands. A restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have 2 swimming pools and offer amazing game drives.

    Imagine exchanging your vows in an open-air chapel at sunset, the bride entering through big gates, the sounds of birds and animals while walking down the aisle.

    Guests sitting under trees awaiting the bride, with nature’s music playing in the background and a very excited groom waiting at the foot of the cross.

    The bride entering on the red carpet with crystals hanging from the trees as she approaches the groom.  This is only one of the many possibilities of making your big day a day you will never forget.

    While your guests enjoy snacks and relaxing drinks in the beautiful garden it’s time for your precious memories to be captured on film.  Tava-Lingwe is perfectly situated with the best bushveld backdrop to make your precious memories extra special.  The breath-taking scenery is unique to the lodge and includes natural vegetation and views of the “Vredeford Koepel”

    At Tava-Lingwe our breathtaking sites will create the opportunity for a whole new trend in photography.  To capture the sunset, we will take you up the mountain for perfect sunset photos.

    Tava-Lingwe offers a complete wedding service and will assist you in all aspects down to the finest detail.  Working with the couple to adapt to individual preferences and budget.  Consideration needs to be given to weather conditions and the fact that we are in a Game Lodge so certain restrictions do apply (i.e. no fireworks).

    It is however advisable to book the lodge for all your guests, which will make your day extra special.  Ministers are easily accessible, as are photographers, cakes, hairdressers, make-up artists and florists.  Special menus can be set aside for the wedding party.

     

     

     

    BRIDES SUITE

    All bridal preparations can take place on Tava-Lingwe as the Honeymoon Suite will be available for the bride to prepare her for her special day from 08h00am the day of the wedding.  The bride starts her day that she dreamed about by getting dressed and ready in our exclusive thatched roof, rustic but elegant Honeymoon suite.

    The Honeymoon Suite is included in the package for the bride and groom to spend their first night as husband and wife.  A deservedly spoiled breakfast is included for the couple the following morning.

    ACCOMMODATION

    HONEYMOON SUITE

    This is a luxury chalet with open plan modern bathroom. The unit consists of a bath and a shower. The unit also includes a mini Bar fridge. This unit is a bit more secluded and has a beautiful view.Features:  Double bed, En-suite, Garden views, Fan, Tea and Coffee Facilities, Bar Fridge, No Smoking in Rooms. Breakfast included in the price.

    2 SLEEPER LUXURY CHALET

    Each Chalet sleeps 2 guests and has an en-suite bathroom with a kitchen and a private braai area and patio.These chalets are spaced and designed to provide privacy. All cutlery and crockery are provided in the unit.

    4 SLEEPER LUXURY CHALET

    Each Family Chalet sleeps 4 guests and has an en-suite bathroom with a kitchen and a private braai area and patio.These chalets are spaced and designed to provide privacy. All cutlery and crockery are provided in the unit.

    Each Log cabin sleeps 2 guests and makes use of outside shared ablution facilities. The shared kitchen are fully equipped. There is also a braai area.These units are spaced and designed to provide privacy.

    Each Log cabin sleeps 4 guests and makes use of outside shared ablution facilities. The shared kitchen are fully equipped. There is also a braai area.These units are spaced and designed to provide privacy.

    BIRD CAMP
    R 520/ Per Night/Unit
    Tava Lingwe Game Lodge provides guests with 5 smaller Log Cabins build in a circle and enclosed for privacy.  These Log Cabins make use of ablution facilities and shared kitchen.

    CAMPING SITES
    R 430 / Per Night Per Stand 4 people
    There is no better way to make new friends than camping on green lawns(in season) and a fire in the middle of nature, with lions roaring and birds chirping.  All ablutions have warm water. Take a look at our map to get an idea of where the stands are located.
    Price includes 4 people and 1 vehicle per stand. Maximum of 6 people allowed per stand.
