Crinkley Bottom Park is situated on the banks of the Nkutu River, about 45 minutes from the centre of Durban. Discreetly tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of city life and nestled in a beautiful lakeside setting, our scenic beauty makes Crinkley Bottom Park an ideal location for that perfect fairytale wedding, stress free function, cocktail party or baby shower.

The history of the property before it became Crinkley Bottom Park is colourful to say the least, as it was once used as a nudist resort by the infamous Beau Brummell. Many older residents of Waterfall still remember this, but few are willing to admit that they ever visited in those days. Come and visit us and find out more of our interesting history.

RECEPTION HALL
The thatched Boma is the venue for your reception and can seat up to 180 people comfortably. It is draped to give a magical blend between ethnic and elegant. The Boma can be decorated further or left as is with only standard draping provided. We have a variety of menus to choose from. The Boma can be hired on its own or in conjunction with the wedding chapel.
CHAPEL
The wedding ceremony is held under a canopied gazebo in the centre of the Nkuthu River. We offer a beautiful garden chapel set ornately in a bamboo forest. This is a fully covered area and ensures that your guests are protected from the elements. This venue has an ambience of its own, enticing you in. It can be fully draped to create an Arabian Nights look for your wedding or alternatively, can be left with just the standard draping to create an elegant yet natural look for your wedding. The stone bench seating can comfortably seat 110 people. Additional seating can be provided on request. This venue can be hired on its own or in conjunction with the reception venue. The price of the chapel includes standard valance draping as well as cushions for seating on the stone benches.

Situated on a crest of hills in the heart of Durban, Waterfall offers a wide range of attractions, along with beautiful accommodation and spectacular views. Just 45 minutes from the thriving beaches and city centre of Durban, the suburb offers a tranquil retreat set on plenty of green rolling landscapes that, in its earlier days, housed farmlands and very little in the way of development. Once a tiny hamlet, the area is today a popular tourist destination for business travel, weddings and holidays.
Crinkley Bottom Park offers a small yet excellent number of rooms situated on the premises, acting much like a guest house. This is ideal for evening events and conferencing. We have nine tastefully decorated rooms available for guests, both twin and double. Each room is en suite with tea and coffee making facilities. Other facilities open to our guests include the children’s play area, two swimming pools and a licensed bar and restaurant.
