The Glades Farm

The Glades Farm is a beautiful piece of heaven on the heart of the midlands, in Balgowan - KZN. We are a family run farm and our property has indigenous forest, grazing cattle fields, beautiful dams and amazing views of the midlands. The nature surroundings are truly breath taking and during your stay at The Glades you can certainly enjoy the company of wildlife such as reedbuck, bushbuck, duiker, wild pigs, vast and abundant birdlife, not forgetting to proudly mention our Nguni cattle herd.

If you are looking for something different and off the beaten track, our exclusive and charming barn is the perfect choice. We have had the most beautiful weddings here, with very happy and pleased couples and guests. The have recently built a chapel that has a stunning view and a lovely rustic country feel. We try to keep ourselves very exclusive and special. We book a maximum of 15 weddings per year, which allows us to keep the character of the farm, and also give a personalized service and wedding experience to each one of our brides.
