Other than being a peaceful getaway for city slickers and a most beautiful, authentic farm wedding venue, Acorn Wedding Venue Guest Farm is also a fully active agricultural business, farming with sheep, cattle, corn and soya beans. The friendly farmers are the 2 Combrink brothers, Johan and Hendrik and their father, oom Hendrik. The lovely ladies who will receive you at the guest house are Corlien and Christelle Combrink- best friends and wives to Hendrik and Johan.
Acorn Guest farm is the ideal midway stop on route to the Kruger National Park or Swaziland and close to other tourist attractions e.g. Dullstroom and Badplaas …

We host unique weddings for unique brides to celebrate the beginning of your new life together with your family and friends here at Acorn Guest Farm. With 4 unique settings to choose from, we can ensure an noncommercial, cosy, creative, fun, intimate and enchantingly beautiful, authentic farm wedding! Fit for weddings with up to 120 guests.
We have 2 outdoor and 2 indoor options for your wedding
The outdoor options are: The 100 year old Poplar woods- Perfect for an outdoor ceremony, canape and/or reception. Beautiful both during the day and in the evening.
The Willow tree- For an open feel in the field with the willow tree as backdrop
The indoor options are: Klipkapel- the beautiful 100 year old sandstone shed is the perfect size for your ceremony or canape.
Klipskuur- The bluestone Klipskuur is our largest indoor option. It also has a bar area, serving area and a large “kuier stoep” with an outside area you can use for a bonfire or a dance floor underneath the stars.

Come and enjoy the perfect getaway on our beautiful guest farm with your family and friends. The lovely old farm house was built in 1913 and is decorated in a country style with the perfect blend of new and old. Experience nature’s peaceful surroundings and enjoy various activities for everyone!
During your stay you can explore the grasslands, pans, rare birds species, poplar woods, dams and river. Besides the enjoyment of quiet nature, Acorn Guest Farm has a spacious and open yard and offers various activities for young and old, including hiking and bicycle trails, horseback riding, fishing, bird watching, boardgames and wii.
The guest house is a fully equipped self-catering unit that can host 10 people comfortably and 12 if necessary. It consists of 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
