The Ballentine suite or “The Presidential Suite” embraces a classical regency style. This suite uncovers an elegantly furnished spacious lounge and majestic bedroom. A private plunge pool silently glistens over luscious forestry.

There are 8 Victorian Suites all housing king-sized, extra length beds except for Suite number 8, which has two three-quater beds. All suites and rooms have been individually decorated. The furniture, except antiques, has been designed by Valma Muir and custom-made for the Blue Mountain Lodge, making our decor unique in South Africa.

“The Checkers”
A baroque styled wooden door reveals checkered floors, which ascend into an unexpected haven of rest. A Persian carpet lazes next to a kingly bed while over a balcony, scenes of green forestry are revealed.

“Fleur de Lis “
Wooden windows invite rays of sunshine to glow on the high walls, which surround hints of imperial green and gold. A pleasant surprise is unveiled behind private shutters in the heart of the suite.

Crowns adorn the walls of a suite that holds secrets of days gone by. Senses of royal whispers fill the interior and a four poster wrought iron “throne” rules from a majestic height.
