Nestled next to the rolling hills leading to Dullstroom, you will find Mellow Stream. This jewel, centrally situated between Middelburg, Groblersdal and Belfast, is the perfect venue to celebrate your special day. The picturesque surroundings will ensure that every wedding photograph is transformed into a masterpiece.

It is unique in its kind. Have your wedding ceremony in a majestic church built with beautiful granite stone fondly known as the ‘klipkerk’ or make use of our waterfall area, complete with wooden deck and natural surroundings that will take your breath away.

Afterwards, let’s get the party started! Our venue has an open-air boma and inside fireplace, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere in any weather. Big enough to accommodate up to 260 guests, no wedding is too big or too small.

RECEPTION HALL

RECEPTION
Built in an eclectic African style, Mellow Stream greets you with stone, wood and a splash of modern touches. The outside boma makes for a sociable atmosphere where guests can enjoy some fresh air and conversation away from the dance floor and bar. It is the ideal place to treat guests to welcome drinks and entrees upon arrival and serves as the entry hall to the rest of the venue. The hall itself can easily accommodate 260 guests with enough space left for a dance floor.

Open large ceiling-to-floor doors at the end of the hall and create a natural picturesque background. It boasts a separate bar area which is fully licensed. A fireplace will chase away the cold on winter nights.

The adjacent kitchen ensures that food is warm and fresh when served.

A special kiddies’ corner, on the outside of the venue but still under-roof is the ideal area to accommodate children. It is large enough to provide them with their own seating area and a jumping castle.

CHAPEL

The sound of the running water and tranquil surroundings will create the perfect setting to start your fairy tale from. Make use of the wooden deck or choose your own setting next to crystal clear water to make your dream wedding come alive.

KLIPKERK
The `Klipkerk` is a historical landmark in Stoffberg and Laersdrift. The church is 131 years old and was built by hand out of granite that was found in the area. If getting married in a majestic church is a childhood dream, the Klipkerk will be a dream come true. It is a mere 1km from our venue.

The Mellow Stream Lodge is walking distance from the venue, perfect for guests who want to catch an early night after an eventful day. Fall asleep in peaceful surroundings with the sounds of nature in your ears. Wake up in paradise and enjoy your morning coffee from the boma facing the waterfall.
