RECEPTION HALL
The venue banquet is ideal for a stunning wedding reception, with a seating capacity of 160 guests and spacious dance floor. Including all necessary event elements included in the venue hire rate, such as tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, table runners, and table cloths, the venue is a convenient one-stop-shop. The venue onsite team will also be able to assist you with any décor requirements, or your welcome if you so choose to appoint your preferred décor supplier, just note that the venue team will only do décor quotes after a first meeting with the couple to better understand your specific design. The banquet boosts various lighting options, from standard to café and fairy, which are also included. One of the many highlights of the banquet include the outdoor boma and conveniently located so some may enjoy this whilst others are dancing the night away.
CHAPEL
The venue provides both indoor and outdoor chapel options, with the latter being the more popular choice among our couples. The river chapel, situated near the gorgeous Crocodile River, provides a stunning garden setting for your vows amidst nature. It can accommodate up to 160 guests. The expansive open lawns near the chapel and river will offer breathtaking views for a delightful harvest afternoon, and as your guests savor delicious harvest fare, you can take advantage of the 25-hectare property to capture stunning wedding photos.
BRIDES SUITE
The honeymoon suite provides a lavish escape with its grand four-poster bed and spa bath after your big day. The room also doubles as a stunning bridal dressing area for pre-ceremony photos. As the newlyweds' first night together, it sets the stage for creating lifelong memories. Located mere meters from the tranquil running river, the suite creates a romantic and serene atmosphere for the bride and groom.
GROOMS SUITE
This 3-bedroom cottage, commonly known as the "man-cave," offers a private and picturesque riverfront setting for the groom and his groomsmen to prepare on the morning of the wedding. Located approximately 150 meters from the main area, the cottage features its own private splash pool and boma area, as well as a spacious deck area surrounded by beautiful trees.
ACCOMMODATION
The lodge offers 11 guest rooms, with 2 farmhouses each featuring 4 rooms and a nearby lodge only 600 meters away. This provides ample onsite accommodation for your guests. Our Superior and Deluxe rooms are equipped with all the necessary luxuries, including air conditioning, while our Eco-rooms have a similar setup but are smaller and do not have air conditioning. All accommodations are within walking distance of the main events area and parking is available in a secure area. Although we are 3.1km from the main roads, the gravel road has been paved with concrete, making it easily accessible by most vehicles.
