Welcome to Kwalata Weddings

During the last 20 years, Kwalata has established itself as a leading bushveld wedding venue. A unique stone and thatch roof church provides a special place for the wedding ceremony. This church can accommodate 250 guests and is judged to be one of the best in South Africa. Lovely gardens around the church make it ideal for photo sessions. A game drive to the veld also provides that once in a lifetime bushveld and sunset photo opportunity!

Kwalata Game Lodge, situated within the Dinokeng Big5 Game Reserve, only 30 minutes drive from Pretoria and 1hour drive from OR Tambo, Johannesburg international airport, in Gauteng ensures you of excellent service and personal attention at all times!

Our wedding packages are designed to assist you in planning the perfect wedding ceremony and reception. We will work hand-in-hand with you to ensure that all the arrangements are done in accordance with your wishes, allowing you the opportunity to enjoy your wedding day!

The following services are included in our wedding packages:

The use of a Ceremony area and Reception area, as well as cleaning the day before and after the wedding
The Honeymoon Suite for preparation before the wedding and overnight stay for the bridal couple.
Setting of tables for your wedding & cream/ivory table clothes for basic setting
Table bussing during dinner, though the plated starter includes table service
Fully stocked bar will be available, in your venue throughout the reception until 24h00
Dedicated Barmen to attend to your guests’ drink orders

Your wedding gift from us:

A platter to the bridal room, served while the bride is getting dressed.
The honeymoon suite for the bridal couple on their wedding night.
Breakfast, the day after the Ceremony.

A natural rock amphitheater provides an ideal setting next to the Pienaars River. This ceremony facility can accommodate up to 80 guests. This natural beauty promise to have beautiful unique photo opportunity.

Tree Church
Getting married under an African Weeping Wattle, surrounded by open savannah.

Honeymoon Suite

The exceptional Honeymoon Suite build with Brick, Rock and Thatch, are a free-standing
chalet with lounge and veranda. The bedroom, comprises one double bed.
En-suite bathroom contains toilet, bath, basin & inside shower. This chalet also has private
outside shower, patio and small garden – 2 pax max per chalet.
