    Suffused with manicured lawn, large trees and real historical Cape Dutch character, Morgenzon’s services extend beyond the hiring of our venue.  We also provide 4-star accommodation and scenic helicopter flights from Wonderboom National Airport can be arranged.

    The chapel with its gothic lead glass windows and antique copper bell can seat up to 150 guests and can be used for the wedding ceremony, christening events, etc.  The rustic wine cellar-look reception hall, overlooking the landscaped garden, can accommodate up to 180 guests.  Buffets and plated can easily be served at the closed-off serving area.  The centrally located bar is available to all visiting guests,  Small and intimate functions can be set up in cosy areas in the garden or in the Manor House.

    Morgenzon is owner managed, thus providing you with personalized service.

    Morgenzon is located next to the Wonderboom National Airport in Pretoria, Gauteng, about 5 km away from the Onderstepoort Veterinary Hospital and Nedcare Montana Hospital

Our professional wedding planner and team will be there to look after all your needs and to ensure the smooth and successful management of your wedding.

    Morgenzon offers you several options for both the wedding ceremony and the reception. The gothic chapel with copper bell, can be used for the intimate ceremony.  The rustic Cellar, with wine barrels, offers the bridal reception a real wine farm experience.  Our breath taking, tree-filled gardens are very popular. The garden can also be used as wedding ceremony area, and/or reception area.

    The venue hire rates will include the following:

    • Full use of the entire venue for your wedding only.

    ACCOMMODATION

    Accommodation at Morgenzon ensures peace and tranquillity. At Morgenzon we have a luxurious bridal suite inside the Manor House with double doors that open onto the garden.  This room offers the bride a peaceful place before the ceremony, with DSTV, air conditioning and a luxury bathroom.  It’s surrounded by French glamour providing a romantic setting for the couple’s first night as newlyweds.

    Morgenzon offers our guests extravagance 4-star accommodation. Inside the old Manor House are 4 spacious, beautiful en-suite bedrooms with luxury bathrooms, DSTV and air conditioning, surrounded by old time glamour.

    The names of the rooms inside the Manor House have historic value. The Hermana suite is named after Hermana Steyn, who is the wife of old Minister Danie Steyn, who added the northern part of Morgenzon on during 1972. Irma, their youngest daughter is a well-known photographer.

    The Myrtle and Cynthia-rooms are named after Mrs van der Woude, who was the wife of Piet van der Woude, who added the Cape Dutch style to the old farmhouse during 1954.

    The 6 Stable rooms outside, also equipped with air conditioning and DSTV, add to the country feeling. Guests can relax in the peaceful, landscaped garden or enjoy a splash in the sparkling bright swimming pool.

    Our newly French styled rooms, Lavender and Iceberg, add more Cape Dutch flair to Morgenzon.
