    DESCRIPTION

    Oak House is situated in the quaint miners’ town of Cullinan, just North of Pretoria. Surrounded by many natural beauties such as the lovely Jacaranda trees and various historic buildings, Oak House has plenty to offer. Oak House was built in 1904 and has the atmosphere and ambience of the old sandstone building is awe inspiring.

    Oak House, as it is known today, was the result of a dream to revamp a dreary guesthouse in order to create a venue that well serves the memory of the grand and stylish and beautiful original general manager’s house. In early 2010 this dream was realised when Oak House venue was re-opened and hosted its first wedding, with many other functions that followed.

    An environment had been produced that was filled with true South African history and promised to be a complete wedding destination. Oak House envisions an experience for the bride & groom where they will receive unparalleled service both before and on their special day.

    RECEPTION HALL

    At Oak House we only host one wedding per day, and ensure your décor and setup is done and finished way in advance.

    We have different packages for you to choose from, in order to suit different needs, tastes and styles. We encourage you to put your own stamp on your wedding and offer our assistance and help throughout the planning process.

    ACCOMMODATION

    Oak House boasts three spacious rooms. The impressive Honeymoon suite is complete with a king size bed, en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, DSTV, and includes an intimate lounge area. This room melts away your worries in a superbly stylish fashion, leaving you revitalised and calm. The complements of the rooms are both spacious and beautifully furnished.

    In room 2 & 3, each includes two single beds that can be converted into a large double bed, as well as an en-suite bathroom and DSTV. Breakfast at Oak House is a hearty affair. Served in the classic dining area, guests are welcome to enjoy a variety of well-cooked staples that make the first meal of the day rewarding and sumptuous.
