Mponde - Our Venues At Usambara

A bridge over the pond leads the way on to the patio adjacent to the spectacular thatch banqueting venue. Soft cream draping cascading with fairy lights from the ceiling compliment the elegant backdrop against which a focal point can be set up e.g. a main table or stage performance. The elaborate chandeliers can be dimmed and ambient lighting can be adjusted accordingly to enhance the mood and tone that has to be set. This spacious venue has the ability of being transformed to fit any occasion with seating between 150 – 400 guests with a dance floor and up to 500 guests if no dance floor is required. Round tables and upholstered chairs are used for guests comfort and the décor can be adapted to compliment any theme décor.

The bar and two sets of toilets are situated inside the venue. Starters are served plated at the guest tables whilst main course and dessert is served in buffet style in a separate wing of the venue giving your guests ample space to move about. An additional feature of this venue is the added thatch courtyard at the back of the venue, that can be converted into a serving area for our Muslim and Hindu weddings preferring to do their own catering on Sundays, or a preparation area for behind the scenes activities, before a presentation or performance. A back-up generator capable of supplying the complete venue concurrently is installed to ensure that there are no interruption during your event.

This intimate thatched venue has soft cream cascading drapes with fairy lights, emphasising the impressive chandeliers. Ambient lighting can be adjusted according to your colour scheme to create a fairy tale atmosphere. Large framed mirrors add to the elegance and charm of this venue. Seating capacity between 80 and 130 guests at round tables with a dance floor, makes this venue very popular for smaller intimate weddings and celebrations.

A safety deposit box installed at the gifts table, gives added piece of mind when guests prefer to bring envelopes. The starters are served plated at the guest tables with the main course and dessert served in buffet style in a seperate wing of the venue, giving your guests enough room to move about. Mabweni - Our Venues At Usambara

This more contemporary venue overlooking the garden is ideal for birthday celebrations, corporate functions and conferences. It provides seating for between 50 – 110 guests on upholstered chairs and features total climate control all around the venue for added comfort throughout the year. Dimmable down lights and beautiful ambient lighting can be set to the appropriate mood. A separate sunken dance floor makes it possible for guests to mingle at the guests tables away from the pulsating dance music.
