Welcome to Tea in the Trees, a unique venue situated at the Chintsa West turn-off just 25 km from East London. This laid-back venue offers a wonderful mixed bag of delightfully different events and activities, right at the gateway to the wonderful Wild Coast. True to the laid-back nature of our venue, families with children are welcome, as the venue caters for all.

RECEPTION HALL

We lend ourselves to more intimate weddings, and only up to 100 people with our gorgeous wooden trestle tables and Wimbledon chairs included in our venue hire .

Our resident DJ, Justin Smith (DJ Rise), will create the perfect atmosphere with his great selection of music to keep your guests dancing through the night! Rain or shine we have indoor and outdoor areas to use.

CHAPEL

Exchange your vows under the stars or in the sunshine in our unique forest theater with your family, friends and loved ones. This unique 'wedding chapel' is just one of the unique features at our venue and seats up to 100 people on forest stumps.

ACCOMMODATION

Situated next to the main family farmhouse on a working farm, this quiet, safe and simple self-catering accommodation is situated at Chintsa, the gateway to the Wild Coast. Relax and enjoy the local wildlife including monkeys, geckos and giant snails.

The simply furnished rustic thatched rondavel (round cottage) offers guests a simply equipped kitchenette, double bed and separate rock shower room with toilet and basin. Surrounded by Banana Trees, the cottage has a small paved braai area with wood that is readily available.
