Sharula Estate is a Wedding venue with panoramic views, rolling lawns and tranquil surrounds making it an idyllic setting for your special event. We specialise in Weddings, Corporate Events and Functions. Ideal for Garden Weddings, Country Weddings or Outdoor Weddings. We offer a "blank canvas" venue allowing you to use your own suppliers and save on costs. We are based just 6km from Ballito and 34km from Durban in Kwazulu Natal.

It is known to the Zulu as the "marriage tree". It is believed that those who marry beneath its branches will enjoy vigour and fertility all their days.

Our Marula Tasting Room is the perfect venue for your special event with spectacular views of Ballito and the ocean in the distance. Seats 120 - 130 people banquet style. Additional space is available should you wish to add a marquee to cater for more guest. Maximum 200 guests on site.

The Marula Tasting Room is the main area where most of your event will take place. The multiple doors offer a spacious feel, inviting nature inside and showcase our breathtaking views. The spacious double volume ceiling is perfect for keeping the venue cool during Summer.

We offer a "blank canvas" so you can save by arrange your own outside caterer, decor and event planner. Our pricing structure offers a venue rental agreement. By organising your own food, refreshments and decor you can manage your costs and save. We also offer Semi Service and Full Service Wedding Packages.
