We offer you the choice between our beautiful Stone Chapel, Bush Chapel or Garden Gazebo for that perfect ceremony. For the reception, you can choose between the African Boma with a bonfire or our air-conditioned Zambezi Hall. We also have an adorable donkey cart available for hire. With our lovely garden and antique photo studio, Zambezi Point provides more than enough photo opportunities for your special day.

Arguably the best catering in Pretoria. We have a wide variety of menus to choose from so unfortunately NO outside caterers or self-catering is allowed. Our in house craft beer will be a free bottomless product for you and your guests when you book with us.

RECEPTION HALL

THE ZAMBEZI HALL
Imagine a lovely thatched and air-conditioned reception hall on country estate overlooking the beautiful sunset over the northern hills of Pretoria.

Although this spacious hall is open plan, it is divided into three sections. The main section is used for the seating of guests, the second section for the dance floor and the third section for the buffet. Our thatched hall seats up to 300 guests without a dance floor and 250 guests with a dance floor. Set in a beautiful evergreen garden, along with the frog choir and lights at night, makes your function even more magical. A beautiful and spacious hall for any type of function. AFRICAN BOMA
In addition to the conventional reception hall, Zambezi Point also has on offer an authentic African Boma. We offer our clients a complete outdoor experience combining the splendour of the African bush with modern amenities and the same quality and service as we present at the Zambezi Hall. It should be noted that the Boma seats 200-250 people under cover, just in case the heavens should open up and bless your special day.

Ideally suited for a more rustic type of wedding with a huge bon-fire setting center stage for a magnificent outdoor wedding celebration under starry skies. The African Boma is a must to experience!

CHAPEL

THE STONE CHAPEL
A Stone Chapel like non other. Our beautiful chapel features a lovely thatched roof, a unique bell-tower, gallery and a meranti wood pulpit. The Stone Chapel can accommodate 240 guests in total of which 60 are seated in the gallery. Once the bride arrives, the sound of the ringing brass bell, announces the entering of the bride.

Zambezi Point is the first and only wedding venue that offers a FREE service where your guests that cannot attend the wedding, can follow your wedding ceremony from the Stone Chapel via live streaming. Come and say ” I DO” in our beautiful chapel.

A choice of either red or white carpet for the aisle. Chair covers, tiebacks, wooden pulpit, register table with linen, DJ table with linen.

THE BUSH CHAPEL
Looking for something different to make your wedding day unique? Try our Night Wedding option in our Bush Chapel. To experience the ambiance and thrill of the bush in the night, with candles and fairy lights lighting up the bush. The best time for the evening service to start is at 19h00.

THE GARDEN CHAPEL
A small gazebo is available for garden weddings in the summertime.
