Situated between Pretoria & Johannesburg, Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge is a rustic and peaceful venue in the tranquil African Bush. Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge and other portions of land surrounding Lake Heritage is part of a conservancy development called the Cradle Moon Conservancy. This exciting project involves the dropping of fences between properties and the introduction of various wild animals. Our Venue provides a perfect natural setting for beautiful wedding photographs.

General Information

Kudu Room – a unique shaped room with an African ambience ideal for smaller intimate weddings.

CHAPEL
Ceremony Venue
Lake Heritage is a lovely setting for an outdoor ceremony. Say “I do” with Lake Heritage and the Zwartkop Mountains as the back drop.
Kindly note that the outdoor venue is weather dependent. We can not guarantee a back up venue in the event of rain until the day of the wedding. Should the weather be unpleasant on the day and we do not have a back up venue available, the Ceremony will be moved to the reception venue.
Chapel
Cradle Moon offers a 100 seater chapel with panoramic views of the lake and Zwarkops mountain. Various seating layouts can be prepared to fit your needs.
ACCOMMODATION
Guest accommodation consists of 50 two bedroom thatched bungalows in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind.
Each Bungalow has a tea and coffee station. The en suite bathroom offers both bath and shower facilities. Heaters in the bathroom and bedroom help to keep the cold at bay. Each bungalow has a veranda on which guests can enjoy their sundowners while watching a glorious African sunset.
WiFi is available, we do not have TV’s in our Bungalows, but you are welcome to join us in our TV Lounge.
