DESCRIPTION

Du Kloof Lodge is nestled between the Du Toits Kloof and Witteberg mountains in a wine-producing region of the Western Cape. Here on the banks of the Molenaars River, extensive consultation and environmental consideration was undertaken, before permission was granted to build this exclusive estate and lodge in an eco-sensitive area. Enjoy relaxed yet refined hospitality, modern amenities and varied, fresh cuisine in most spectacular scenery of the Western Cape. A mere 65km from Cape Town International, we welcome wedding parties, honeymooners, wine lovers and dedicated fly fishermen or women – as well as those simply wishing to escape city life and rejuvenate by the fireplace, along our waterways or in the fragrant woods and mountain.

ACCOMMODATION

Inside Rooms
Located within the lodge itself, our inside rooms are ideal for those with a busy agenda. They are just a few steps from the Du Kloof Restaurant and Ladies Bar where you can enjoy a tranquil glass of wine while sinking your teeth into our juicy burgers and other succulent meals. Make yourself comfortable in this home away from home.

Luxury inside rooms (1-4): These large rooms offer breath-taking views of the mountains which can be enjoyed from either inside or outside on your own personal balcony. They feature both a shower and a bath as well as two basins.

Luxury inside rooms single booking: R850, and double booking R1370.

Classic inside rooms 5 and 6: These rooms each offer a stunning view of the mountains and includes a personal balcony. The bathroom offers a shower.

Classic inside room 7: This room is spacious with access to our intimate courtyard where you can enjoy some fresh mountain air. The bathroom offers a shower.

Classic inside room 8: This room is spacious with a personal balcony and view of the mountains. The bathroom offers a shower.

The classic rooms are R800 for a single booking and R1300 for a double booking.

Courtyard Room
This Courtyard Room is ideal for families as it is spacious, with a partial separation between the entrance which offers a sleeper couch opposite the TV, and the main sleeping area. The sleeper couch can accommodate two persons, and it is also possible to arrange for an additional bed on special request. Direct access to the courtyard enables parents to keep a closer eye on their children while playing outside. The bathroom offers a shower.

The courtyard room is R1590 for a double or family booking.

This room can accommodate a maximum of four adults, or two adults and three children.

Deck Rooms
Our outside rooms are ideal for adventurers who are looking for a place to rest after a long day of exploring the various hiking trails in the area. With wooden decks and awe-inspiring views of the mountains, these rooms offer a bit more seclusion as they are not directly connected to the lodge. Guests using these rooms may have free access to the day visitors’ braai area or visit the Du Kloof Restaurant for a more sophisticated dinner. Kindly note that guests should bring all their own accessories to use at the braai area. The bathrooms feature showers only.

Single booking: R700, and double booking: R1160

The Dormitory
The dormitory is the ideal destination for large groups up to 30 people. School- or religious groups are classic examples of those finding a peaceful retreat here. With ample space to move around and direct access to a wooden deck overlooking the mountains, it is easy to feel at ease with your peers while making memories that last a lifetime.

Rate: minimum fee R2000.

Each group is unique, and therefore we are willing to negotiate based on the specific needs of your group.
