Oaks and ponds beyond the old winery and 17th-century farm buildings lead to the rest of the estate’s plentiful little “biospheres” – unique spaces that create different settings for any wedding or function. And you’re not going to be left wanting for options for your next function here.

There’s also the newly renovated Lyceum space. It’s colossal to say the least, an old farm building converted into an immaculate white-marble-tiled functions venue with chandeliers and old beams in the ceiling that allows you to convert the look of the space into whatever you imagine by suspending decor or indoor plants.

The Lyceum functions space at La Paris accommodates about 450 people, easy. And, importantly, the side doors all open up onto a lush green outdoor lawn space that’s perfect for extending your reception or large function.

Both the Lyceum and winery also make for the ideal wedding ceremony – or indoor, back-up-plan reception – spaces. Which brings us to what La Paris is already very famous for, idyllic winelands weddings in Franschhoek.

Every “environment” is truly unique and worth strolling through whether you’re planning a wedding or not. There are sweeping lawns above the manor house, for carnival or picnic-style weddings. The rose garden is lush and beautifully tended. And the forested arbour makes for an incredible dusktime photo-procession as your party makes its way up to the lake, which has an island in the middle for more incredible photos.”

THE WINERY
Pure luxury embraces you as you glide across the beautiful marble floor aglow with antique chandeliers. Open the dance floor as a couple surrounded by regal wine tanks or let the Vintage French Shutters lead you out to a Fragrant Garden to catch your breath. The Winery can accommodate up to 120 wedding guests and lends itself to any Grand occasion.

THE LYCEUM
The perfect blank canvas to bring your event to life. Its raw brick accent walls and breath-taking chandeliers welcome any style, colour or idea. The lyceum is suited for any occasion and can accommodate up to 400 people depending on the seating style.

Wind your way through breathtaking white flowers and enter a palatial setting through lofty glass doors which provide ample natural light.

The lyceum doors open onto lush lawns which host beautiful water features and room for guests to socialise.

THE ROSE GARDEN
Tall red roses form the perfect backdrop for your romantic occasion. Let the fragrant flowers envelope you as you walk down the aisle towards the historic bell to declare your love. Your guests will bare witness to your matrimony seated on hand-crafted benches under the shade of the ancient oak trees. The rose garden is able to seat 200 people, power points are available.

Feel pampered at the luxurious La Paris Estate, set on wine valley mountain slopes near Franschhoek. Our property has undergone a complete refurbishment in mid-2019, updated to tasteful, modern design standards, the finest fabrics, custom furniture and pillow- top beds.

Our air-conditioned suites have private garden areas, large luxury bathrooms with walk-in showers, free-standing baths and dual vanities. For summer, our outdoor pool is expansive, and surrounded by sumptuous loungers with towels on demand. Athletic offerings include an outdoor tennis court with rackets.

Our on-site Bistro restaurant serves seasonal menus, and all rooms include a-la- carte breakfast at the Bistro.

Room service is available for breakfast and lunch. Housekeeping is done daily.
