Ceremony
The Paternoster Hotel has a variety of options for your ceremony whether you want an outdoor wedding on one of South Africa’s beautiful beaches or prefer an intimate indoor setting in a historic church.
The nearby Paternoster Beach is an ideal setting for a tranquil seaside ceremony. The gentle waves and golden sand are sure to provide a relaxed and casual atmosphere for your ceremony and the brightly painted fishing boats in the bay will provide a dazzling splash of color in your wedding photos
For those who prefer an indoor wedding, there is a charming little church with white-washed walls and bright blue trim just a short walk from the hotel. With an ideal location overlooking the bay, the church offers stunning views and great photo opps.
Reception
Our newly renovated ballroom with its limestone walls and 150-year-old Oregon pine trim offers an ideal location for intimate celebrations. The rustic charm of the space will complement any wedding theme and provides a blank canvas that allows your dream wedding to come to life. Our ballroom can accommodate up to 100 people and features a dance floor where you can have your first dance as a newly married couple.

Family Room
With a queen-sized bed and comfortable twin bed, our spacious family rooms are perfect for 2-3 people. The neutral colors and earthy tones of the decor create a relaxing atmosphere and the balcony offers a partial sea view of Paternoster’s stunning bay. The room features a walk-in rain shower which is the perfect way to wash away the sand after a long day at the beach. You can enjoy a complimentary cup of tea or coffee on the balcony while the sea breeze gently blows or curled up in bed watching a movie on TV.
Double Room
Our double rooms feature a comfortable double bed and a bathroom with a bathtub and attached shower. The atmosphere is warm and cozy with splashes of color against a backdrop of muted tones. Relax in a hot bath after spending a day exploring Paternoster while sipping a complimentary cup of tea from your in-room tea & coffee station.
Twin Room
With two comfortable twin beds, this room is perfect for friends traveling together. The beds can also be converted to one large king sized bed. The twin rooms have a bathtub and an attached shower. Guests will love the complimentary tea & coffee station where you can serve yourself a hot drink while chatting the night away. The splashes of blue throughout the room are reminiscent of the ocean nearby and the calming atmosphere is guaranteed to give you a good night sleep.
