The Secret Garden is Nestled in the hills of Bisley, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal, you’ll find our family run wedding venue - The Secret Garden - which overlooks our private game farm, where Giraffe, Zebra & Kudu roam freely.
We are a passionate husband and wife team with over 40 years’ experience in the hospitality industry combined. Our experience ranges from working in Walt Disney World, USA, as well as a variety of restaurants & hotels across Europe. We now continue our passion of creating the ultimate ambience & experience for our valued clients and their guests.

RECEPTION HALL
Our 250 seater glass enclosed venue ensures the perfect view for you and your guests. Surrounded by a veranda, the venue flows out to allow guests to mingle and catch their breath.
CHAPEL
Our stone chapel is the perfect place to say I do. From there guests are entertained on our welcome deck while you capture your memories.
ACCOMMODATION
• Our Chalets are all OPEN PLAN FAMILY UNITS ( Double & 2 single beds )
• Check out is by 10am please
• STRICTLY Non-smoking rooms
• Unit are all LIMITED SELF CATERING, no cooking equipment is supplied
• Please use roads & carpark only & refrain from driving on garden grass
• Extra blankets available in tea station cupboard
• In the event of no electricity, a battery torch is provided under Tea station
