RECEPTION HALL

The Reception Venue
This is where all the fun happens! After the ceremony is finished and the photographer is done snapping away at the bridal party, the eating, speeches and dancing can commence!

Once again, we have retained an original stone building and converted the interior to seat up to 200 guests. The layout has been designed for maximum comfort and practicality, and the view isn’t too shabby either.

The venue boasts a double-sided bar that can be accessed from the veranda and inside (very handy) and is fully stocked with all of the favourites, including beers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks.

CHAPEL

The Stone Chapel
A chapel with a backdrop like this is certainly not dime a dozen, it really is something special.

Seating up to 200 people, this 100 year old stone building was originally the dairy, and has since been refurbished and made into a beautiful chapel, without losing any of its original charm. Our pews and the giant double doors at the entrance are made with oregon pine and the backdrop is courtesy of Mother Nature herself.

Ceremony With a View
If you'd prefer an outdoor ceremony we have the most beautiful outdoor ceremony area. It overlooks the dam and is enclosed in a white fence with double doors at the entrance. The aisle and alter are paved so that your heels don't sink in. The giant trees provide an extra touch of beauty and add another element to the scenery.

BRIDES SUITE

Honeymoon Suite
Our beautiful, newly-built honeymoon suite is a delightful private cottage, tucked away near the dam and is the perfect place to spend your first night as newlyweds. Comfortable, private and beautiful, this suite is everything you would want after an exciting wedding day, and is in the perfect setting to make your first few memories as newlyweds.

We have space for 38 guests that is both beautiful and affordable. Choose from one of our four houses, two cottages or the honeymoon suite.

Shutter House
Shutter House has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 10 people comfortably. It has a full kitchen, verandah with outdoor furniture, braai and is fully fenced.

Thorner House
Thorner House has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 people comfortably. It has a full kitchen, verandah with outdoor furniture, braai, swing and is fully fenced.

Acacia House
Acacia House has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 people comfortably. It has a full kitchen, verandah with outdoor furniture, braai and is fully fenced.

Thorner Cottage
Thorner Cottage sleeps a total of 8 people comfortably, and includes an outside private unit for 2.

Fig Tree Cottage One
Fig Tree Cottage One is a cosy 1 bedroom cottage with a private garden, verandah and braai. It overlooks the outside wedding ceremony area.

Fig Tree Cottage Two
Fig Tree Cottage Two is a 2 bedroom cottage with a private garden, verandah and braai. It overlooks the beautiful valley and is perfect for a family of four or two couples.
