    Orchards Wedding Venue is an elegant and romantic wedding venue situated in the rolling hills of the Caversham Valley in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, South Africa.

    The wedding chapel, nestled in the Orchard, affords stunning views of the lush, green fields, scattered with hay bales, setting the scene for a truly romantic country wedding with a difference. The thatched, country-chic ambience permeates throughout the Guest Lodge, converted stables and wedding venue, all of which spills down to the bubbling stream gently meandering through the property.

    RECEPTION HALL

    The paved deck area, leads onto a beautiful swimming pool with bull-nose coping and perennial water features. This all sets the scene for breath-taking views through the stack glass doors.

    Decorated in subdued shades of grey with screed floors, an enormous stone clad fireplace, and white Tiffany chairs, the “barn like” venue adapts itself to any bride’s tastes.

    Orchards venue is fitted with the following features:

      A room specifically allocated to the bride and her ladies

    Chapel

    The wedding chapel, nestled in the Orchard, affords stunning views of the lush, green fields, scattered with hay bales, setting the scene for a truly romantic country wedding with a difference.

    Our beautiful stone and wood chapel nestles in the Orchards and affords stunning views over the neighboring fields. The large wooden windows, set into the hand-laid stone work, frame the rolling hills all adding to the romance and vistas, creating the perfect backdrop against which to savour that first married kiss.

    The chapel seats 140 people on pews, with extra seating available and standing room at the rear, provides ample space for your family and friends to witness your vows.

    Rustic Luxury- An “Al-Fresco” Experience

    Set amongst the rolling hills of the midlands, Orchards farm is the perfect backdrop for a laid back yet luxurious outdoor celebration.

    Situated just below the chapel, our scenic outdoor meadow has seating for up to 160 guests on beautifully restored sun bleached benches. Complimenting the rustic feel with understated elegance, whimsical ceremonial blue mist doors are placed in the centre of hewn sentinals from the local forest. A classically styled wrought iron gazebo framed by the natural beauty of the surrounding trees and river inspire a romantically demure yet chic “Al Fresco” ceremony.

    The meadow has year-round appeal and beauty, making it an ideal choice for any season.
