DESCRIPTION
Casa Mia means “My Home” in Spanish and therefore we want you to feel at home whilst planning your special day with us. We invite you to make an appointment with us in order to view our facilities and to discuss all your requirements. We believe in offering you a package that is the best value for your money. Casa Mia is a Spanish style venue with a touch of Africa, set in beautiful gardens surrounded by bushveld. Casa Mia staff believe in personal attention and service, therefore the owners will meet with you personally, and co-ordinate your entire wedding on your special day. Part of our service is the fact that we only cater for one wedding function per session, therefore you are assured of a private wedding function for you and your guests.

RECEPTION HALL
in keeping with our reputation for hospitality, refreshments of your choice (sherry/cocktails/fruit juice/Sangria/iced tea) are served after the ceremony at the dam under the Pergola or in the garden. This will allow the photographer time to take those special photos whilst your guests enjoy the company of friends and family in peaceful surroundings. From here, guests are ushered to the hall where they can relax and listen to background music whilst waiting for the newly weds.
The Captain’s Den is a bar & deck facility used with the garden wedding functions and ideally decorated to give you that nautical feeling. The deck also features braai/spitbraai facilities.
Weddings in excess of 200 guests
VIVA ESPANA HALL
This facility can accommodate up to 350 guests including a large dance floor. A fireplace warms up the winter nights and creates a wonderful atmosphere. The roof is fully draped with fairylights over the dance floor area, which is included in the price per person. The hall has its own Spanish style Cantina for a cash bar or limit bar facility.
GARDEN RECEPTIONS
Casa Mia has beautiful gardens, which are the ideal venue for a garden reception. Tables are set under the shady trees and guests can relax in the peaceful surroundings. Buffet tables are set in our Zebra Dining Room and guests make use of the Captain’s Den bar facility overlooking the garden.
THE FLAMENCO FUNCTION ROOM
The Flamenco function room can accommodate between 30 and 50 guests. Meals/buffet is served in our Zebra dining room or in the Flamenco function room depending on the layout and setting of tables. The guests make use of our Captain’s Den bar facility overlooking the garden.
CHAPEL
CHAPEL/CAPILLA
Our romantic Spanish style chapel is situated in the garden and can seat between 50 and 160 people.
GARDEN CEREMONIES
The garden ceremony creates a wonderful atmosphere, with the romantically draped gazebo, red carpet scattered with rose petals, white bell cage with white fantail doves and a lush garden provides for a wonderful setting with a difference. The authentic church bell will announce your ceremony. Guests enjoy the peaceful surroundings combined with the romantic setting of the ceremony. The garden accommodates between 50 and 350 people. The garden has excellent features for the most extraordinary photos - even during winter. Also set in the garden is the dam with a large wooden bridge. The gardens are surrounded by bushveld hosting small game. Bushveld ceremonies can also be arranged on request.
ACCOMMODATION
We have a B&B facility and bookings are essential. All rooms are en-suite with TV and beverages. Breakfast is served in our Zebra dining room or picnic breakfast can be provided at the dam.
We have a variety of activities in and around Casa Mia e.g game drives, game viewing on Horse back, Excursions to Cullinan Mine, Golf at Cullinan golf course and pamper treatments.
